Corpay is currently looking to hire an Emerging Market FX Sales Trader within our Corpay Cross Border division. This position falls under our FX EM line of business and is located in our trading floor in London. In this role, you will:
- As part of the Team, quote global clients in 145+ currencies and execute FX transactions on various systems, including Bloomberg, Refinitiv FXT, 360T etc.
- Collaborate closely with UK and US trading desks to provide comprehensive client coverage and support daily trading volume activities.
- Manage end-of-day (EOD) UK position reporting and P&L entry with accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a key liaison across global trading desks, ensuring effective communication and operational alignment.
- Follow up with the settlements team, in tight coordination with our dedicated Middle Office and proactively propose improvements when shortcomings are identified.
- Develop competencies and become a reference in selected emerging markets; both for the team and for other internal and external stakeholders. This will cover not only market developments but also regulatory and compliance aspects.
- Maintain and develop relationships with liquidity providers.
- Identify market opportunities and set up compliant processes to offer adequate solutions to clients.
You will report directly to the Regional Director, Emerging Markets, EMEA and regularly collaborate with colleagues in the US and Canada, and as part of the global Emerging Markets desk.
How We Work
As an Emerging Market FX Sales Trader, you will be expected to work in our Moorgate office in London. Corpay currently provides the flexibility to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ideally 5 years+ in an EM FX Sales and/or Trader function in a bank or fintech
- Science, Economics, Engineering Master’s degree if you have fewer than 10-years’ experience
- Strong knowledge of African markets, especially deliverable FX, additional emerging markets a plus
- Good knowledge of derivatives, including Non-Deliverable Forwards and FX Options.
- Some travel will be required.
