About this role
In this role you will be covering trade compliance improvements and ensure overall trade compliance for EU/UK. You will report directly to the Director of Global Trade Compliance.
What you will do
- Ensure Trade Compliance for Customs compliance, Export control and Supply Chain Security in assigned region
- Daily support for customs operations
- Implementation of new customs laws and regulations
- Risk assessment, control, and support on internal and external audit
- Knowledge Sharing, training, and reporting
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. customs authorities, BAFA, HMRC) regarding trade compliance matters
- AEO monitoring
- Participate in (cross-functional) projects
What you will need
- Bachelor ‘s or Master ‘s Degree in economics, engineering or another related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role depending on educational credentials
- Good understanding in international trade and supply chain
- Proficient knowledge in export control, import & export, proficient in EU/UK customs compliance
- Financial and operational problem solving and analysis skills
- Result oriented and strong attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Business fluent in German and English, both verbal and written
- Good MS Office knowledge

Ihre Hauptaufgaben
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Handelskonformitäten in Bezug auf Zollbestimmungen, Exportkontrolle und Sicherheit der Lieferkette in der zugewiesenen Region EU/UK
- Tägliche Unterstützung bei Zollabwicklungen
- Umsetzung neuer Zollgesetze und -vorschriften
- Risikobewertung, Kontrolle und Unterstützung bei internen und externen Audits
- Wissensaustausch, Schulung und Berichterstattung
- Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Stakeholdern (z. B. Zollbehörden, BAFA, HMRC) in Bezug auf die Einhaltung der Handelsbestimmungen
- AEO-Überwachung
- Teilnahme an (funktionsübergreifenden) Projekten
Ihr Profil
- Bachelor- oder Master-Abschluss in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Ingenieurwesen oder einer anderen verwandten Disziplin
- Mindestens 3+ Jahre Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Funktion (je nach Ausbildung)
- Gutes Verständnis vom internationalen Handel und Wertschöpfungskette
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Ausfuhrkontrolle, Ein- und Ausfuhr, EU/UK-Zollvorschriften
- Finanzielle und operative Problemlösungs- und Analysefähigkeiten
- Ergebnisorientierte und sorgfältige Arbeitsweisel
- Gute organisatorische Fähigkeiten
- Bereitschaft zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und fließende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse
