Job Summary
As a Vice President in the Mining Research team, you will analyze market trends and develop reports that inform investment strategies. You will work under the mentorship of senior analysts, delivering stock and sector insights to institutional clients. Your role involves building and maintaining financial models and contributing to the team's thought leadership. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-focused environment where your expertise is valued.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze macroeconomic and sector-specific trends.
  • Develop and maintain financial models.
  • Produce thought-leading company, sector, and thematic reports.
  • Deliver stock and sector insights to institutional clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
  • Contribute to the team's strategic initiatives.
  • Stay updated on market developments.
  • Support senior analysts in research publication.
  • Handle client requests and provide tailored insights.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in equity research or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
