The Downstream Hardware Regional leader is responsible for the growth and profitability of the business for all the Downstream Hardware and related consumables in the Nordics/UKI/Benelux and France region and will provide direction to the sales specialists to meet/exceed annual sales and order budgets and ensure sustained growth & profitability.
This position reports to the EMEA Hardware Solutions leader within the Bioprocess commercial organization
What you will do:
- Lead the EMEA DSHW North region reports to meet or exceed zone targets assigned by the Bioprocessing commercial lead
- Support the local sales team account managers in contributing to sales strategies and account plans for the DSHW business
- Support the team to formulate strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers’ expectations and expand the DSHW business by gaining market share in existing and new accounts through critical insight on customer projects and market insights,
- Lead and support sales funnel reviews and provide forecast support through the related financial process
- Drive the execution of strategic growth initiatives
- Ensure the continued development of direct reports and talent management. Create trusted relationships with your team members, understand what they value and support them in achieving their development goals. Coach the team to enhance their network and identify challenging / stretch roles or projects to support career progression.
- Build a strong internal network to drive maximum synergy and customer satisfaction across the business. Work effectively with internal functions, including the account management team, other sales specialists, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance, legal, scientific support, service sales and customer service.
Who you are:
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
- 10 years or more commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
- Product knowledge for Downstream processes related equipment and solutions
- English language fluent in speaking, reading and writing
Territory:
- Nordics, UK&I, Benelux and France
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel – 20% of time, overnight staying, within the region
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
