FIGS is looking for an Embroidery Supervisor that will support our embroidery operations at our warehouse. The Embroidery Supervisor is responsible for coordinating activities that support the embroidery production line and manager and for making sure that production meets its deadlines as requested by our internal and external customers. The Embroidery Supervisor will be responsible for leading shifts to ensure all embroidery production line activities are performed in compliance with SOPs and company policy. This position will lead a team of hourly associates to achieve a variety of operational goals, including productivity, excellent customer service, maintaining a safe work environment and positive and effective employee relations. In this role, you must be flexible and open to adjusting your schedule as business needs and times may shift. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supervise embroidery operations in our warehouse 
  • Supervise embroidery line and staff 
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting daily production 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines
  • Help to manage inventory and fulfillment of finished goods, WIP and raw materials through WMS system 
  • Coordinate staffing of temporary and permanent labor
  • Assist with training of embroidery line staff on machines and software  
  • Monitor open orders and resolve aging 
  • Improve efficiencies and reduce downtime of equipment
  • Help to manage third party embroidery relationships during large volume or machine/warehouse down time
  • Assist management with special projects and any ad-hoc requests as they arise

Qualifications:

  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Fluency  in English required. Proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required
  • Experience in manufacturing or production operations
  • Highly organized self-starter, proficient in the use of PC/MS office suite/Google Docs
  • Ability to lead and direct staff with the possibility of hands on assistance on the embroidery line
  • Experience in running, operating, and troubleshooting embroidery machines (Barudan equipment knowledge preferred)
  • Single and multi-head machine supervision experience 
  • Knowledgeable in Wilcom and Compucon software 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines
  • Experience in computer software for digitizing and modifying existing DST and EMB files
  • Must be able to meet objectives with minimal direction from Embroidery Production Manager and make sound business decisions
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to work flexible hours

FIGS Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

  • At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's hourly rate is between $18.00 and $24. Actual hourly rate is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
