As software is playing an increasingly significant role in enabling digital consumer experiences, we are gearing up to become more agile, faster in responding to market demands and quicker in identifying new market opportunities. This involves elevating our appliances to digital, software-defined products in a seamless integration of modular electronics, software, and connectivity platform.

We’re looking for a Powerboard Embedded SW Engineer to join us on our journey.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to Powerboard Development: Work on the forefront of powerboard technology, focusing on the design and optimization of firmware to enhance system performance and reliability, appreciating the complexity and detail-oriented nature of embedded and the management of physical systems.
  • Engage in Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate as a key member of a cross-functional platform team, collaborating closely with hardware, software and control engineers to create a cohesive and robust platform.
  • Enhance System Integration: Facilitate the integration of powerboard solutions within the broader system architecture, ensuring compatibility and efficiency across different components.
  • Implement Modern Software Practices: Apply modern software development methodologies and best practices in the embedded domain, aiming to elevate the quality and maintainability of our firmware.
  • Influence System-Wide Vision: Contribute insights and expertise to the overall system vision, helping to shape innovative solutions that meet complex technical challenges.
  • Design new software features through agile development practices such as chartering, story-mapping, and regular stand-up meetings.

Who you are:

  • Skilled in C Programming for Embedded Systems: You have extensive experience and skill in C programming, specifically for embedded systems, with a deep understanding of low-level peripherals and microcontroller programming. Experience with ARM microcontrollers is highly regarded.
  • Experienced in Power System Firmware: You have a strong background in developing firmware for power systems, including experience with power electronics, sensors, and actuators.
  • Knowledgeable in Control Algorithms and Real-Time Systems: You have experience with control algorithm development or integration, and are familiar with the challenges of hard real-time systems, including scheduling and performance optimization.
  • Modern Software Development Advocate: You are passionate about bringing modern development practices and technologies to embedded software development, aiming to improve efficiency, reliability, and team collaboration.
  • Eager to Learn and Lead: You are not just open to learning new technologies and methodologies but are also eager to lead by example, sharing your knowledge and expertise with team members as you all grow together.
  • You are familiar with Continuous integration tools (Jenkins, etc.), and Atlassian toolset: Jira & Confluence;

Where you'll be:

While embracing a hybrid work model, your main location will be our state-of-the-art office in Warsaw's vibrant Wola district. The office is purposefully crafted to support neurodiversity and is conveniently positioned near "Fabryka Norblina". Location Forlì (Italy) could also be taken into consideration.

Regardless of the chosen location, you will be part of a dynamic international team where English is the natural language.
