Hybrid – Buffalo, NYOur team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join them. You will report to the Software Engineering Manager and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will:
Design and implement software for use in embedded aircraft control systems utilizing real-time data
Design and implement software that performs data acquisition and control for automated test equipment
Perform systems and software integration and verification activities using real and simulated hardware
Provide system definition, requirements authoring, software development and verification
To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll typically bring with you:
Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience
Programming in C, Python, dSPACE, Simulink, or LabVIEW computer languages
Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic self-starter
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to understand and convey complex regulations/procedures
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
International and domestic travel may be required
It’d be great if you also had:
Experience with DO-178 Level A Development and Verification activities
Experience leading and organizing engineering teams
Experience in a matrix-based organization

Salary Range Transparency:

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
