The Embedded Software Engineer role is part of the Software Development Team based in Belluno. In the role, He/She/They is charged with designing, coding and testing of efficient, reliable and reusable Software for the development of Linux embedded systems.
Essential functions:
- Develop and test low-level software for Linux embedded systems
- Drive continuous integration (CI) processes to improve build and deployment automation
- Collaborate with global teams to troubleshoot, debug, and enhance software performance
- Help shape the architecture of next-generation embedded solutions
Required qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Computer Engineering
- Proficiency in C and C++
- Comfortable translating business requirements into a design
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spoken & Written)
- Interpersonal skills along with the ability to work in a team
Appreciated qualifications and experience:
- Multithreaded programming with IPC (Inter-process communication) experience
- Agile Methodology (Agile, SCRUM, Sprints, …)
- Familiarity with Linux kernel and drivers
- Familiarity with programming tools such as Valgrind
- Good understanding of Git code versioning tool
- Basic knowledge of Rust
