We are currently looking for a Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D Department.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering,
Control & Automation Engineering, or a related engineering field (or senior undergraduate students able to work on-site at least 3 days a week),
Advanced proficiency in C,
Hands-on experience with microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and standard communication protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C),
Familiarity with software architecture, technical documentation, and software verification/validation methodologies,
Experience with SVN or similar version control systems,
Experience or familiarity with AI-assisted software development (using AI tools/coding assistants to accelerate coding, debugging, and documentation),
Strong sense of ownership, effective task planning skills, and the ability to track, report, and drive assignments to completion,
Professional working proficiency in English for technical communication and documentation,
For male candidates, military service completed or postponed for at least 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with C++, C#, and Qt (C++) for desktop testing tools and UI development,
Knowledge of Functional Safety (SIL) concepts and safety-critical system requirements, or a strong willingness to pursue a career in this field,
Familiarity with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Static Code Analysis processes, and software quality metrics.
Job Description
Actively contribute to the design, documentation, and implementation of high reliability embedded software architectures compliant with Functional Safety (SIL) standards,
Provide ongoing engineering support, maintenance, refactoring, and feature updates for active production and ongoing R&D projects,
Use modern AI-assisted development tools to enhance code efficiency, testing coverage, and workflow automation,
Conduct HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing, laboratory verification, and debugging processes for embedded systems,
Develop and maintain desktop test and diagnostic tools using Qt (C++) or C# to support testing, analysis, and commissioning activities,
Document software architectures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance code quality and system robustness.
