Role and Responsibilities
Duties
- Assist Product Management of Enterprise display devices with a sense of product ownership
- Develop product Features for Tizen models with support of Platform team.
- Execute Product commercialization following Samsung PLM process and phases
- Software Configuration Management and Release/Build management.
- Collaborate with the R&D, QA, and business team in delivery
- Requirement gathering and analysis
- Product feature specification update in relevant systems.
- Prepare documentation for product releases.
- Handling Market Support queries and drive critical market issues along with technical and support teams.
- Keeping track of bug reports and allocating bug fixes to a release schedule
- Working with distributed workforce [Korea, India , Poland , UK , China, US etc ] to accomplish new feature developments and enhancements in Product.
- Should be able to narrow down the problem based on the analysis of the logs and code.
- Others job assigned by Part leader/ Group Leader
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, S/W Engineering or IT related field
- Has at least one year of experience in software development
- Hands On experience on working on various microcontrollers/processors
- Experience in SW development using C/C++, Debugging Tools
- Hands-on experience on working with communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C
- Knowledge of MCU interrupt handling, bootloaders, flash operations and peripheral programming
- Knowledge in DTV mobile connectivity technologies [like Miracast, DLNA etc] is a big plus
- Knowledge about Linux build system is a big plus
- Good in English communication for working
