- The Power Management Controller IP (PMC) is responsible for managing the system boot and power for client chipsets.
- As a member of the PMC firmware team, you will work closely with IP architects and validators to develop firmware on embedded microcontroller based IP subsystem for Power management domain.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience of around 10 years.
- Deep experience programming in C++
- Experience with low level embedded firmware programming
- Good understanding of HW and FW interactions.
- Knowledge/experience with software architecture of x86 based micro-controllers
- Experience with protocols like inter-processor commns, PCI express, eSPI, memory accesses
- Debugging in Pre silicon Simulation environment with trackers
- Experience with source control systems such as GitHub
- Experience in Linux environment
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant experience with Assembly language
- Familiarity with Python.
- Behavioural traits : strong written and verbal communication skills, multi-site environment, tolerance of ambiguity, problem solving, teamwork, attention to detail, commitment to task, and quality focus.
