Job Description

**This is a 6 month contract with possible extension**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Braze Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for migrating email platforms to Braze, optimizing email campaigns, and creating dynamic content templates. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Braze, a strong understanding of email marketing strategies, and expertise in designing and implementing email templates. You will work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure a seamless transition and to deliver impactful, personalized email campaigns to our customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Platform Migration: Lead the migration of email campaigns, workflows, and data from legacy platforms to Braze, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to operations. 

• Email Template Creation: Design, build, and optimize responsive, personalized email templates that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. 

• Campaign Execution & Management: Manage, launch, and optimize automated email campaigns through Braze, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of messaging and audience segmentation. 

• Data Integration & Analysis: Collaborate with data teams to ensure proper data integration within Braze and analyze email campaign performance, making recommendations for improvements. 

• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and engineering teams to understand campaign objectives, align strategies, and ensure seamless execution of email marketing initiatives.

• Documentation & Training: Provide detailed documentation and training materials for Braze platform usage and best practices across teams. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Braze and migrating email platforms (preferably from platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, or similar). 

• Strong experience in designing and creating dynamic, responsive email templates. 

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and email best practices. 

• Knowledge of email marketing analytics, A/B testing, and performance optimization strategies. 

• Familiarity with segmentation, automation, and personalized messaging in email marketing. 

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with data to inform decision-making. 

• Experience with API integrations, data syncing, and troubleshooting. 

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other marketing automation platforms and CRM systems. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges. 

• Certification or training in Braze or email marketing platforms is a plus.
