Email Marketing Specialist

Are you a performance-driven email marketer with a passion for crafting impactful, personalized campaigns? At Ogooga, we’re scaling fast and we need a sharp, AI-savvy Email Marketing Specialist to join our Player Acquisition
team.

This is a hands-on executional role where you'll bring lifecycle strategies to life through high-performing email marketing initiatives. Your mission? Launch timely, optimized email campaigns that acquire, engage, and retain players—while ensuring every message delivers value, clarity, and brand alignment.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:

• Deploy & Manage Campaigns: Launch a minimum of 2 promotional emails per weekday in line with the campaign calendar.
• Enhance Copy & Design with AI: Use tools like ChatGPT and Claude to optimize copy, format emails, and quality-check campaign logic.
• Collaborate on Creative: Work with our Email Strategy Lead to refine subject lines, copy, and CTA phrasing for top performance.
• Request & Validate Visual Assets: Ensure banners and headers meet branding and layout specs.
• Track Performance: Monitor results in AWeber and Keitaro, and manually report outcomes until automation is in place.
• Link QA & Troubleshooting: Confirm tracking accuracy and campaign journey functionality across platforms.
• Own List Health: Monitor engagement metrics and manage bounces, unsubscribes, and hygiene practices.
• Get Technical: Support basic HTML/CSS fixes and learn Keitaro link-building and troubleshooting.
• Support Automation Flows: Contribute to setup and optimization of sequences like welcome and reactivation emails.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with design, affiliate, and data teams to align campaign efforts.

🎓 What You Bring

• 2–3 years of hands-on email marketing experience.
• Familiarity with AWeber or similar ESPs.
• Basic HTML/CSS for troubleshooting email layouts.
• Understanding of tracking links, UTM/GET parameters.
• Data-savvy: You speak metrics like open rate, CTR, and bounce rate.
• Excellent written communication skills in Romanian & English.
• Experience with Keitaro or MailMeister is a plus.
  

🤖 Bonus: You Speak Fluent AI

• Confident using ChatGPT, Claude, and internal tools to ideate, QA, and refine content.
• Able to write structured prompts (JSON, segmented inputs) for personalization or formatting.
• Use AI for proofreading, tone-matching, A/B testing, and content summarization.
• Bring ideas for streamlining processes through AI—think faster testing cycles and scalable personalization.
