About the role
Our Engineering team has a strong core team of highly experienced industry professionals who take a long-term approach to client management. Our unique market position and enviable reputation leads to strong trusted relationships and repeat business.
Due to a strong pipeline of projects, our Abu Dhabi team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced ELV Design Engineer to undertake a variety of projects across the region.
In this role you will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team across a variety of infrastructure, buildings, transport and other project types
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design of other Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including but not limited to Telecommunication, PAVA, AV Systems, Electronic Security Systems, Structured Cabling System including Passive and Active components design, from conceptual design phase to construction phase.
- Produce necessary ELV calculations including CCTV Field of View and Lense Calculation, Recording Time and Capacity Calculation, Wi-Fi Heat maps etc.
- Coordination with other disciplines during the design phase, including Architectural, Interior Designers, MEP, Infrastructure, Landscape, etc.
- Producing compliant design with all local authorities (Etisalat, Du, ADMMC, SIRA, etc.) and obtain all required design NOC/s.
- Assists in the preparation and issuance of ELV Systems packages including drawings, single line diagrams, technical design report, schedules and specifications.
- Liaise with Local suppliers to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client.
- ELV Engineer will be required to coordinate with BIM modelers and carry out Revit & CAD design.
- Assist the Sr. Engineer for design support, presentations and tender documentation.
- Work well under pressure.
- Work well with colleagues.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a design consultancy, demonstrated by a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience within engineering consultancy.
- The commercial acumen to provide cost-effective security and ELV solutions.
- An enthusiasm for staying up to date with the very latest updates about ELV systems integration and solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills that go beyond “tech talk” – the ability to translate complex IT matters to those without an IT background.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely.

Skills Required
- 3-5 years proven experience in engineering/design consultancy
- Design of ELV systems including telecommunications, PAVA, AV, electronic security, and structured cabling
- Produce ELV calculations (CCTV field of view and lens calculations, recording time/capacity, Wi‑Fi heat maps)
- Experience with Revit, CAD and coordinating with BIM modelers
- Ability to produce drawings, single line diagrams, technical design reports, schedules and specifications
