About This Opportunity
We are looking for Hands-on experience in designing and managing ELK stack solutions for log analytics, including Logstash pipeline development, Elasticsearch querying, and Kibana visualization. Proficient in Python for API integration, data processing, and automation, with strong knowledge of Python libraries, databases (MySQL/MariaDB), and Linux environments.
What You Will Do
Design, implement, and maintain ELK stack solutions for log management, Performance Management and analysis.
Customize and optimize configurations for Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana. to meet specific project requirements.
Develop Logstash configurations/pipelines to filter, ingest, transform, and enrich log data before indexing them into Elasticsearch.
Understanding of log parsing techniques and data formats such as JSON, CSV, or XML.
Familiarity with querying Elasticsearch using its query DSL (Domain Specific Language)
Creating and managing indices and mappings within Elasticsearch
Familiarity with log collection agents (e.g., File beat, Metric beat) and data shippers.
You Will Bring
Generate reports and visualizations to support business intelligence and decision-making.
Good troubleshooting skills to investigate and resolve issues related to data collection, indexing, and visualization.
Python scripting to create utilities for APIs integration/ data processing /aggregation and automation.
Good knowledge on Python libraries and ability to resolve library interdependencies.
Ability to develop optimised code in large databases with multi thread implementation.
In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch
Good Knowledge on database technologies such as MySQL & Maria DB.
Linux OS knowledge and cronjob scheduling.
Good to Have Skills:
Perl/Shell Scripting
Familiarity with other monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus etc.
Good understanding of Containerized Architecture like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift etc.
Knowledge on ITIL and experience with ITSM tools.
