SUMMARY
Elemis is looking for a Senior Director to lead our Supply Chain team based in New York City.
As an Operations Lead, you will support the COO in driving and developing Elemis’ Supply Chain Strategy. You will serve as a key business partner to North American President and collaborate with Senior Sales leaders to support regional growth.
You will own Elemis’ North America inventory management, retail operations, import process and the relationship with warehousing and logistics providers. You will additionally oversee optimization of existing systems and implementation of new processes and systems.
As the Senior Director, you are a critical player in Elemis' day-to-day supply chain and inventory management. You are a highly motivated, driven, analytical and hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced environment. You must demonstrate strong communication and partnership skills in order to collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Production, Demand Planning, Global Operations, and more.
ESSENTIAL REPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Order Management

Manage the relationship and performance of the US warehouse provider, optimizing processes, improving efficiency, managing costs in line with budgets

Ensure excellent customer fulfillment for our Elemis’ customers across all channels

Manage KPIs and reporting, using the data drive improvement, accountability and transparency in performance

Develop the use of systems within operations to significantly improve service and cost effectiveness

Ensure import and export processes run smoothly and are compliant

In conjunction with global planning, actively manage inventory to drive stock turns. Working with the business to change the inventory profile and reduce slow moving inventory

Work with US Warehouse to drive flexibility and cost optimization into the kit production process

Support the delivery of the Supply Chain Strategy

Part of the Supply Chain Leadership Team

Quality and Sustainability

Deliver and maintain a robust CSR (Corporate Social responsibility) policy and procedures to our supply chain, mirroring and taking lead from existing parent company procedures adapting and enhancing where appropriate

With the support of global Quality team, maintain and improve quality and environmental procedures to ensure best practice and consistent working methods
People Management Responsibilities:

Responsible for partnering closely in recruitment, as well as continuously building trust and strong interpersonal dynamics for an exceptional team.

Appraise team performance and identify training and development opportunities for the team - both individually and collectively - to boost productivity and effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS

8-10 years of experience

Bachelor's degree in supply chain preferred, or equivalent years of experience

Experience leading teams, fostering collaboration, and supporting cross-functional relationships

Familiarity with inventory planning

Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
*The salary range for this role is between $165,000 and $180,000.
