The Electrical Technician carries out electrical systems implementation independently or in conjunction with other engineers, providing support in design, implementation and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Assists the plant engineers in providing services to production and "hands on" maintenance with minimum supervision. Must take on and successfully complete, process or technical development problems/assignments with little or no supervision. Must also be able to install, modify, troubleshoot, change, startup and document the various electrical systems, PLC's, VFD's, sensors and equipment used by the company. Furthermore, the Electrical Technician will establish procedures and techniques for new operations (equipment, instrument, process, etc.). Major criteria for successful performance are initiative, innovativeness, practicality, adaptability, dependability/willingness, neatness and safety consciousness.
