Key responsibilities include:
- Design test plans for board-level electronic assemblies, working closely with design engineers.
- Execute tests in the electronics lab, such as functional testing, digital signal integrity verification, or power converter control loop measurements.
- Execute multi-board assembly testing, such as functional testing of a complex phased array system.
- Design test fixtures or equipment, such as custom PCBs for test or integration purposes.
- Plan integration of multiple prototype modules.
- Assemble complex test setups, working with design engineers and technicians.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues.
- Evaluate and document test results, presenting them to key stakeholders.
Successful candidates will require, as a minimum:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited university.
- 2 years of relevant industry or research experience covering several of the responsibilities listed.
- Programming or scripting experience, such as Python, LabVIEW, SQL, MATLAB, or Embedded C.
- Experience designing and executing test plans for custom board-level electronics.
- Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
