The Opportunity
We’re seeking an Electronics Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting and isn’t afraid to tackle challenges head-on. They have a strong technical and mechanical aptitude, a keen attention to detail, and excellent computer, communication and organizational skills.
Reporting to the Manufacturing/Maintenance Supervisor, this role plays a key role in the manufacturing and maintenance of high-quality products, participating in the assembly and testing of avionics and flight data management systems, including troubleshooting and repairing circuit boards and electronic systems as well as the manufacture and testing of complicated satellite transceivers and accessories.
This position is based on-site in our Kelowna, BC office.
As a Electronics Technologist, responsibilities include:
- Assemble and test electronic and mechanical components
- Troubleshoot and repair circuit assemblies and electronic systems
- Assist the engineering team
- Follow engineering and quality procedures
- Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure processes are efficient
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
What You Bring
Candidate Must Have’s
- Electronic Technologist or Technician diploma or equivalent advanced education
- Proficiency in hand soldering
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and work instructions
- Experience in static awareness and material handling
This will make you stand out
- At least one year industry experience in electronics manufacturing
- Familiarity with the Iridium network an asset
- Familiarity with the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)

This position is for an existing vacancy within our Production team.
The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000 CAD. The range posted is a guide and may not represent the compensation offered to the successful candidate. Compensation is based on the skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications brought to the role.
