This host company is a leading Extra Low Voltage one stop shop for the supply, installation, commissioning and the ongoing servicing of security, access control, audio visual, fire detection and electronic nurse/assistance/duress call with a specialisation in the health and aged care industries.

Tasks:
  • Research and Development Tasks such as writing firmware, writing software, designing PCBS
  • Assembly of products in manufacturing
  • Operating Pick and place machine
  • Providing technical support in competent areas
  • Writing work instructions for products
  • Generating Product data sheets for products
  • Generating Service and Installation Manuals for Products
  • Carry out all duties associated with the design, installation and maintenance of: Nurse call, CCTV, Fire Detection, Security, Audio Visual and any other duties as reasonably required by the employer
  • Maintain a high level of workmanship
  • Take particular care with installations, programming, testing and commissioning of systems to provide reliable systems to prevent call backs
  • Keep up to date with technical advances and industry changes
  • Maintain a superior knowledge level in terms of the different systems available
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and basic network related problems encountered by end users
  • In addition to the duties listed, the job holder will be required to undertake other duties as reasonably requested from time to time
