We’re looking for:
An Electronics Engineer with extensive expertise in analog and digital electronics to support our multidisciplinary development teams.
As an Electronics Engineer, you will help drive innovation from concept to realization. You’ll take on the exciting challenge of designing and defining complex electronic circuits and systems across a wide range of Philips applications. Further development and future activities could lie in the areas of signal and power integrity for high-speed electronics, thermal analysis, or RF electronics.
Your role:
- Design, realization and verification of analog and digital electronic circuits and systems
- Modeling and simulation of circuitry
- Signal integrity simulation and analysis of high-speed PCBA design interfaces
- Power Integrity simulation and analysis of power delivery networks
- Translating simulation results into functional and physical requirements/constraints for board layout
- Application of safety and quality standards that apply to electronic systems in the healthcare domain
- Delivering input for project plans, e.g., making effort estimations based on requirements for the project deliverables
- Documenting requirements, design and verification of circuits/systems/products
You are a part of:
The Electronics Systems and IoT department of Philips Innovation Engineering, located on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (the Netherlands). Our department is an integral part and differentiator of many Philips products and services, delivering world-class hardware platforms, analog, mixed signal and RF designs, medical devices, power supplies, connectivity modules and development and engineering services.
Our team supports exploratory work, fast realization of functional models and prototypes, and effective product development.
To succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- At least 8 years of industrial experience in advanced analog and digital circuit design, including low-noise, high-frequency, and high-speed applications
- Convincing product development expertise
- Affinity with hardware/software co-design and embedded software
- Experience with requirements specification, implementation, verification and documentation
- A hands-on, proactive, and can-do attitude and a strong focus on quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
And preferably, you have:
- A background in developing medical devices
- Knowledge of industrialization aspects of PCB and PCBA designs
- Affinity with RF and EMC design
- Experience with Xpedition for schematics design
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards like IEC60601-1 that are applicable to the healthcare domain
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week in our offices in Eindhoven.
