The NISC IV group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Electronics Engineer to work in our Oklahoma City, OK office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Ground-based Navigation Systems group.
Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the National Airspace (NAS) ground-based navigation systems by applying your expertise in electronic circuits, equipment, and complex systems. You will also provide engineering services at operational locations, including facility maintenance, equipment modifications, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electronic Circuit & System Design: Apply your comprehensive knowledge of electronics engineering to support the design and maintenance of electronic circuits, equipment, and complex systems used in NAS ground-based navigation systems.
- NAS Equipment Support: Assist in the maintenance, repair, and modification of various NAS equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and reliably.
- Facility Maintenance & Modifications: Provide engineering support for operational locations, ensuring facilities and equipment meet the necessary standards for functionality and safety. This includes making modifications to existing systems as needed.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Perform troubleshooting and repairs on NAS equipment, addressing any technical issues to ensure systems remain operational and fully functional.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work with other engineers and teams to ensure the smooth functioning of ground-based navigation systems and provide technical support as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of Electrical Engineer experience in addition to a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security interim Suitability (in order to be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years.
Must pass a drug test prior to starting with Leidos.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of working with power systems as well as integrated circuitry.

Pay Range:Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
