All about the role:
We are seeking an Electronic System Engineer to define, develop, and maintain electronic system architectures and technical specifications for household appliances. This role has a strong hands-on electronic technical focus combined with technical project leadership, translating product and customer requirements into robust system-level solutions and guiding cross‑functional teams throughout the full product lifecycle.
What you’ll do:
System & Electronic Technical Responsibilities- Translate customer, regulatory, and internal product requirements into clear system-level technical specifications.
- Define and own electronic system architecture, including interfaces, power distribution, sensing and actuation.
- Perform system trade‑off analysis (cost, performance, reliability, manufacturability, time‑to‑market).
- Support design evaluations and system design reviews.
- Lead system-level DFMEA, risk analysis, and mitigation tracking.
- Collaborate with Test Experts in defining system validation strategy, including functional, EMC, safety, robustness, and reliability testing.
- Monitor the product compliance with international standards and regulations (EMC, CE, IEC, safety).
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for system and field issues.
- Act as technical project leader for electronic systems within NPI and cost‑reduction projects.
- Own system technical deliverables, milestones, and interdependencies.
- Coordinate and align with hardware, firmware, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, and sourcing teams.
- Drive technical decision‑making, escalation, and issue resolution at system level.
- Manage system-level technical risks, assumptions, and open points throughout the project.
- Support project planning by providing effort estimation, technical feasibility input, and timing impact analysis.
- Interface with suppliers, EMS partners, and technology vendors to align system requirements and technical solutions.
- Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and industrialization activities.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in electronic system engineering, electronic product development, or system architecture definition.
- Solid understanding of complete electronic development lifecycle from concept to mass production.
- Experience working in cross‑functional and international project environments.
- System engineering and requirements management
- Strong understanding of:
- Analog, digital, and power electronics
- Embedded systems and firmware interaction
- Power management and protection concepts
- EMC, safety, and regulatory compliance awareness
- Electronic validation, verification, and test methodologies
- Ability to read and review schematics, block diagrams, and technical documentation
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ownership mindset

Where you’ll be:
You will be based in Electrolux Electronics R&D office in Rayong, where we also have the washing machines and refrigerators production site. In our office you will work together with hundreds of people from different functions, and various nationalities, with the common goal to create the technologies of the future.
