Thermcraft is hiring a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In this hands-on role, you will wire, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and support electrical control systems used in custom industrial furnaces and thermal-processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

· Wire industrial furnaces, control cabinets, and related components using electrical schematics, production drawings, instructions, and specifications.

· Lay out and wire electrical panels, including relays, fuses, circuit breakers, and other control components.

· Integrate electrical and mechanical systems in partnership with engineering, production, and other cross-functional teams.

· Test electrical systems and components using industrial electrical test equipment and voltage meters.

· Troubleshoot circuits, identify root causes, and complete repairs or adjustments.

· Complete required sign-off sheets and electronic/electrical quality check documentation accurately.

· Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including drilling, tapping, cutting, measuring, and mounting components.

· Safely operate hand tools, drill presses, table saws, forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment as trained and authorized.

· Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow company quality and safety procedures.

Requirements

·  Associate degree in electrical engineering technology, electronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field; or at least two years of relevant electrical experience.

· Hands-on experience with industrial electrical panel layout, wiring, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.· Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical principles, circuitry, relays, fuses, and circuit breakers.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, production drawings, and technical specifications.

· Ability to operate and interpret industrial electrical and electronic test equipment.

· General mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, cutting tools, calipers, and micrometers.

· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with a team.

· Familiarity with computer-aided design tools and technical documentation software is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and climb on, in, or under equipment as needed.· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
