Position OverviewMinerva Dairy is seeking a skilled, safety-first Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support our manufacturing and packaging operations. This hands-on role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical and electro-mechanical systems ranging from low-voltage control circuits (24V DC / 110V AC) up to 3-phase 480V AC distribution and motor power.
The ideal candidate blends strong electrical diagnostics with core mechanical troubleshooting in an active food processing environment, ensuring high equipment uptime while adhering to OSHA, NFPA 70E, and food safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical & Automation-
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment operating at 110V, 240V, and 480V 3-phase systems.
-
Diagnose and repair power distribution equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, disconnect switches, contactors, and relays.
-
Troubleshoot AC/DC motors, soft starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control centers (MCCs).
-
Troubleshoot automated control circuits utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley), I/O modules, instrumentation (temperature, flow, level, pressure sensors), and HMIs.
-
Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, ladder logic, P&IDs, and equipment technical manuals.
