Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, self-motivated individual to join our production team as an Electrical Tech I (Electrical Assembler & Panel Builder). Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for electrical and mechanical assembly work that supports the production of Pro Smoker industrial smokehouses.
What You’ll Do• Prepare work by gathering required parts, tools, materials, and subassemblies
• Align, fasten, and install piping, fixtures, and electrical components into assemblies and subassemblies
• Run and install wiring between electrical components
• Lay out, construct, and install electrical panels on machines
• Assemble and install plumbing valves and fittings
• Position parts and assemblies using templates, jigs, or blueprints
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and other electrical components
• Complete necessary testing and record results on required forms
• Follow company quality and safety programs
• Other duties as assigned by manager
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment required
• Experience with light electrical assembly, panel building, PLCs, VFDs, and plumbing required
• Strong basic math skills required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Good hand and finger dexterity
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime when required
