Starting Salary: $80,000/year — higher salary available based on experience
Seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer with hands-on experience in electrical design, installation, and testing. This role supports power-generation equipment and electrical integration within a manufacturing environment, including control wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
Responsibilities
- Review electrical schematics, blueprints, layouts, and specifications for installation and assembly.
- Develop electrical drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and equipment specifications.
- Support electrical design proposals and ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Inspect and functionally test completed equipment before shipment; identify and correct defects or discrepancies.
- Perform load calculations and other standard electrical computations.
- Guide electricians and production employees on schematic reading, installation, testing, labeling, and safe work practices.
- Establish and maintain standard methods for electrical component design and enclosure layout.
- Provide technical support and hands-on training to production personnel.
- Develop and coordinate electrical cross-training programs.
- Review third-party project materials and coordinate electrical requirements and timing.
- Work with customers and internal teams to resolve electrical issues before equipment ships.
- Apply appropriate work methods and priorities while managing multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- 3+ years of experience designing, installing, and testing electrical equipment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and blueprints.
- Experience using electronic test equipment, including multimeters and ammeters, and performing functional/indication testing.
- Ability to design and build control panels for basic electro-mechanical systems.
- Basic programming experience with electrical equipment such as displays, sensors, and HMIs.
- Strong understanding of AC/DC electricity and electrical theory.
- Thorough knowledge of power-generation equipment, including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, and conduit systems.
- Current knowledge of NEC requirements.
- Experience with fuel system integration is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and customer communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and management.
- Some travel to job sites is required.

- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to travel between local facilities as needed.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
