As an integral member of our National Airports Electrical team based in our Mile End, South Australian office, the Senior Electrician/Supervisor will be responsible for providing electrical support to the National Airports Team, working on projects throughout Australia.
Please note, this role includes rostered working away from home on a rostered schedule (a range of allowances will be paid in addition to base salary)
Role responsibilities include:
- Install and maintain Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) for various airport projects Australia wide.
- Willing and able to work night shift when required.
- Perform onsite work, fault finding, panel wiring, construction, installation and ordering/receiving of materials.
- Supervise inhouse AGL installation team or supervise subcontractors.
- Manage onsite safety, quality, and environmental requirements to meet Fulton Hogan and client requirements.
- Liaise with management, supervisors and other key stakeholders during contract works.
You will hold a current electrical trade qualification and be able to:
- Demonstrate sound communication skills with an ability to read and interpret Electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications.
- Have a sound understanding of airfield electrical primary systems and can work on airfield primary control and constant current regulators (desirable not mandatory, can be trained)
- Excellent organisational and computer skills.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and troubleshoot as required.
- Proven commitment to team management and site safety.
- Ability/Willingness to travel (sometimes at short notice) to project sites both locally and interstate if required.
