Electrical Supervisor — London
JLL | Workplace Management UK&I

Tired of being the best engineer on the patch but never the one calling the shots?

We're growing our National Engineering team and looking for an experienced electrician ready to step up and lead. As Electrical Supervisor you'll run a team across our London commercial portfolio — mentoring engineers, owning compliance, and getting proper backing from a national employer, not just another maintenance contract.

Why electrical supervisors choose JLL

  • Strong, transparent pay. A salary above our electrician band, reflecting your supervisory experience, paid monthly with no surprises.
  • Overtime that's worth doing. Time-and-a-half on weekday overtime, double time on weekends and bank holidays, plus standby/call-out allowance for OOH cover.
  • A team that's properly kitted out. Company vehicle, laptop, tablet, phone and parking expense card, plus fully equipped vans and PPE for your engineers.
  • We pay for your tickets. 2391 inspection & testing, fire alarm, F-Gas/AC and more — fully funded, with paid time off to attend.
  • Real progression. A clear pathway to Regional Engineering Manager within a national team — not a slide in someone's deck.
  • Variety, not monotony. A portfolio of commercial sites across London gives your team genuine fault-finding, installs and PPM — not the same job on a loop.
  • Backup when you need it. Regional Engineering Managers, technical escalation, and a stop-work culture that's actually respected.
  • Job security. Long-term national accounts and stable workload — not a small outfit one bad month from trouble.

Full benefits package

  • Salary: above electrician band, reflecting supervisory experience (DOE)
  • Overtime and standby/call-out pay
  • Company vehicle, laptop, tablet, phone and parking expense card
  • Pension scheme
  • Holiday entitlement: 24 days + bank holidays
  • Funded training, qualifications and ECS card renewal
  • Life assurance @ 3 times Salary
  • Employee discounts and wellbeing platform
  • Enhanced sick pay
  • Employee assistance programme (24/7 confidential support)
  • Cycle to work / season ticket loan schemes
  • Electric Vehicle Salary Sacrifice

The work

  • Supervising and coordinating a team of electricians and technicians across multiple commercial sites in London
  • Complex fault diagnosis, repairs and installations on lighting, power, distribution and control systems
  • Inspection, testing (EICR) and certification to BS 7671 (18th Edition) — plus 100% checks of your team's paperwork and certificates
  • Working safely — POWRAs, permits, and a stop-work culture that means something
  • Mentoring junior engineers and running regular safety briefings and training sessions
  • Owning the compliance SharePoint, team audits and investigations
  • Covering the OOH call-out rota and coordinating rapid resolution for emergencies
  • Liaising with clients, PFI/PAM and national account colleagues to coordinate maintenance activity

What you'll need
Essential: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, AM2, 18th Edition (BS 7671), valid ECS card, minimum 5 years' commercial electrical experience, full UK driving licence, and proven leadership/team management experience.
Nice to have: 2391 inspection & testing, F-Gas/AC, fire alarm/emergency lighting know-how, and FM or similar commercial environment experience — and if you don't have them yet, we'll help you get there.
