Position Summary
As an Electrical Product Engineer, for Medium Three-Phase UPS, you will provide technical leadership and engineering expertise to support the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of medium-power UPS products up to 600kVA. This role works closely with global engineering, manufacturing, service, quality, sourcing, sales, and product management teams to deliver reliable and innovative critical power solutions. You will play a key role in resolving technical challenges, driving product improvements, supporting customer applications, and improving product performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy customer-focused engagement, innovation, troubleshooting, product development, and hands-on problem solving while building expertise in UPS systems, power conversion, energy storage, and critical power infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support product development, qualification, enhancement, and sustaining engineering activities
- Investigate product, factory, field, and customer application issues
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation activities
- Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions
- Translate field and manufacturing feedback into product improvements
- Evaluate electrical components, assemblies, and alternative technical solutions
- Design, prototype, test, and document engineering changes
- Create and maintain electrical diagrams, schematics, specifications, and test reports
- Participate in engineering change management and product lifecycle processes
- Support technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders
- Apply safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in engineering activities
- Build expertise in critical power and UPS technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline
- Two or more years of engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, service, or product support experience
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, electrical power systems, and electrical components
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and wiring schematics
- Exposure to three-phase electrical systems or UPS products
- Experience with laboratory testing or product qualification activities
- Experience with product lifecycle management or engineering change processes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
- Experience documenting technical findings and recommendations
- Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach
- Proficiency in written and verbal English
- Willingness to travel up to 10 percent
