- Take full ownership of all E&I hardware (transmitters, control valves, proximity sensors, analyzers) and manage the backup and upkeep of plant-related software across Melaka, Senai plants, On-site APSAs, and other sites.
- Plan, execute, and track scheduled E&I maintenance and calibration programs, ensuring all activities are completed on time while providing additional troubleshooting support as needed.
- Maintain the ISO systems across all designated sites and ensure that all electrical and instrumentation maintenance strictly adheres to industry and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a zero-accident environment in accordance with AL IMS and WSHA regulations to ensure uninterrupted production facilities and deliver total customer service.
- Monitor process parameters and assess equipment deviations, responding promptly to troubleshoot abnormal situations and non-routine operations. Collaborate with leadership to implement corrective actions and minimize system downtime.
- Coordinate with customers, team members, and in-house contractors; overseeing task delegation, HSE compliance, competency, and cost control; to ensure timely project execution and support continuous improvement initiatives driven by audits and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
- Manage the complete lifecycle of tools, consumables, and critical spare parts. Ensure optimal inventory levels and proper preservation/storage to guarantee resource availability and minimize unplanned purchases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related discipline).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in plant maintenance, specifically focused on Electrical, Instrumentation, control (E&I) systems.
- Strong working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies. Experience with DCS/PLC systems (e.g., Yokogawa, Siemens) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is highly preferred.
- Understanding of mandatory regulatory requirements governing maintenance, testing, and inspections.
- Ability to handle, coordinate, and execute technical projects effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with personnel at all levels and across diverse working environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel to provide required on-site support at plant locations in Melaka and Senai.
