Our Combat Mission Systems business is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician IV to perform technical functions supporting engineering activities. You will have the opportunity to work alongside engineers to develop prototype electrical/electronics, document test procedures, conduct product/prototype laboratory testing, and analyze and report test results. Other responsibilities include fabrication of mechanical, electrical or plastic parts, and the design and build of automatic test equipment for production and prototype testing.
The candidate should be highly self-motivated, have strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, as well as solid communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to interact and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team is critical in order to field and support Combat Mission Systems programs.
As an Electrical Engineering Technician you will:
- Collaborate in a team environment with engineers and technicians to fabricate, assemble, and test precision electrical and mechanical assemblies and systems.
- Conduct product, prototype or laboratory tests.
- Develop and document assembly processes and test procedures.
- Analyze and report status and test results.
- Specify, design, fabricate, test, troubleshoot, and perform rework or repair of product, prototype, and laboratory equipment.
- Prepare samples for prototype or laboratory testing, including test setup
- Document product technical data packages.
- This role requires regular presence in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. The incumbent must be able to access and safely navigate production areas which may include climbing, kneeling, stooping, and working in confined spaces. Must also be able to comply with all requirements including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policy.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or closely related field and 1+ year as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Ability to conduct testing and generate report data.
- Ability to perform calibration and alignment checks.
- Must be able to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Certified in Modules 1 - 5 of J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies. #LI-DNI
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Skills Required
