We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the SFHP Project.
This person will provide electrical engineering expertise. The role will lead and take responsibility for the delivery of the design aspects of the project. The role will provide support to procurement activities, construction, and testing and commissioning. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to all aspects of electrical engineering.
Review / checking of design documents and electrical deliverables developed by design teams
Ability to estimate hours for scope changes or additional works along with outlining supporting schedule for the discipline
Support and contribute to the delivery of Design Reviews
Actively participate in the technical development of electrical engineering team members including apprentices, graduates, and junior engineers
Actively contribute to the procedural and technical working of the department with the production of department procedures, work instructions, design guides, and templates
Estimate & schedule production and progress reporting
The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential
Familiarity with National Electrical Code requirements
Must be able to balance scope, schedule and budget to ensure project success
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
A minimum of 10 years engineering experience. Experience must include engineering involving major project management responsibilities
Must be able to how proof of US citizenship (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)
Experience must also include all phases of engineering support including problem formulation/specification, system design, data collection, systems engineering and analysis, problem resolution, and documentation of results
Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills, and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Idaho or ability to obtain within six months.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves a mix of both office and field (construction) environments. Must have sufficient mobility to enter all areas of the construction area; climb ladders and ability to work at elevated levels on platforms and scaffolding, etc. Work area may be dusty and or noise. Temperature conditions are wide ranging between the seasons (both hot and cold). Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist and sit for extended periods as well as climb and lift up to 35 lbs.
Compensation Details:
$145,000 - $190,000
