The State Group is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer to work in Bowling Green, Ohio. This is a 15-18 month project with the potential for continued opportunities on future projects upon completion.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design power distribution systems.

  • Supervise electrical equipment installation.

  • Execute system testing and commissioning activities.

  • Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.

  • Support on-site execution and field operations.

  • Perform pre-commissioning activities and functional checks.

  • Conduct loop checks and equipment energization.

  • Commission and start-up switchgear, transformers, and generators.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during installation and startup.

  • Coordinate with electrical installation teams to verify the quality of work.

  • Track and resolve punch-list items.

  • Provide field support throughout project execution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

  • 10+ years of experience with electrical power distribution systems.

  • Experience with testing, commissioning, and startup of electrical equipment.

  • Understanding of safety codes and industry standards.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in field and on-site environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience using Bluebeam, CAD, or other engineering software.

  • Ability to adapt to changing project and site conditions.
