The Role:
We're seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and integrate IoT technologies for next-generation material handling equipment. In this role, you'll develop embedded electronic systems, integrate sensors, and support connected products from concept through production. Working with cross-functional teams and suppliers, you'll help deliver innovative, reliable solutions that advance connected vehicle technology.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design and develop electrical components for IoT telematics systems and connected equipment.
- Evaluate new technologies, conduct feasibility studies, and develop functional system requirements.
- Create technical specifications and documentation for component suppliers.
- Participate in wire harness design reviews to ensure compatibility with system architecture.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, test plans, calibration procedures, and product manuals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot controllers, sensors, embedded hardware, and electronic systems used in OEM forklift applications.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues and deliver high-quality, cost-effective products.
- Support product development while ensuring manufacturability, quality, and engineering excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of post-graduate Electrical Systems Engineering experience designing low- or medium-voltage electrical circuits.
- Strong understanding of analog, digital, high-speed, and RF circuit design, including PCB development.
- Working knowledge of C and C++ programming.
- Understanding of controller hardware, embedded software, serial communications, and vehicle control systems.
- Experience using diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and power supplies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and multicultural teams.

What Sets You Apart:
- Experience with CAN communication protocols and tools such as CANalyzer, CANape, or similar applications.
- Knowledge of IoT, telematics, or connected vehicle technologies.
- Experience supporting products throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with motor control systems, motor drives, or industrial/mobile equipment.

- This is an in-person role located at our Greene, New York office - ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Salary - $73,840 - $94,667 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
