Your Role 
As an Electrical Engineer in our Forensics Practice, you will evaluate electrical systems, diagnose failures or performance deficiencies, and support the design of repair or remediation solutions. You’ll contribute to forensic investigations, technical documentation, and litigation support in a collaborative environment. With support from your team, you will work on projects in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, ideal for engineers eager to grow their technical and creative skills. This is a full-time position starting Summer 2027.

What You’ll Do 

  • Conduct forensic analysis, diagnostic evaluations, and failure assessments of electrical systems for damaged or distressed facilities. 
  • Prepare clear, detailed forensic reports and visual documentation for technical and legal audiences. 
  • Participate in site inspections, electrical equipment assessments, and evidence collection. 
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and legal teams to deliver accurate findings.

What You’ll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred. 
  • Familiarity with electrical design principles and forensic investigation techniques. 
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow through feedback. 
  • A detail-oriented approach with the ability to apply fundamental engineering concepts and check your work with care and curiosity. 

Compensation

The rate for this position generally is $77,000 - $90,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee’s pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
