As an Electrical Engineer, you will support electrical build, integration, and testing for customer-focused projects, ensuring systems meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Develop solutions in collaboration with the Lead Electrical Engineer and customer as needed to refine and confirm the electrical job scope.
Gather specifications and requirements for equipment to be integrated into the building.
Resolve cable sizing and conduit sizing in accordance with the National Electrical Code and physical space constraints for connected equipment.
Partner directly with OEM customers to establish the point-to-point wiring requirements and wiring schedules.
Collaborate with the Lead Electrical Engineer to secure final drawing approval.
Verify customer-supplied equipment upon receipt.
Coordinate and/or perform the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
Distribute the action item list upon completion of the FAT and consult on each issue listed.
YOU HAVE:
8+ years of electrical field experience required.
Prior experience in low or medium voltage switchgear, factory acceptance testing, and general electrical testing of power distribution systems.
Familiarity with the electrical standards specified in the National Electrical Code.
Strong ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
Expertise in multi-conductor control wiring and optical patch cable specification.
A safety-focused approach to work in the production environment for acceptance testing.
