Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Site Supervision) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee electrical installations, systems, and operations on-site while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and project specifications. You will serve as a technical leader, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and project teams to deliver high-quality electrical work on schedule and within budget.

  • Supervise and inspect electrical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet design specifications and local UAE electrical codes and standards
  • Conduct daily site inspections and prepare comprehensive technical reports documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions
  • Coordinate with electrical contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion
  • Analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and occupational health standards on-site
  • Manage electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems and equipment
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, inspection records, and compliance certifications
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders regarding site progress and technical matters
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges through analytical problem-solving and collaborative decision-making
  • Train and mentor on-site personnel on electrical safety procedures and best practices
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation related to electrical work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering with at least 3 years in site supervision or project management
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and equipment
  • Proficiency with electrical design software and project management tools
  • In-depth understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations applicable in the UAE
