This role offers exceptional opportunities to expand technical expertise while participating in the complete lifecycle of engineered electrical power distribution equipment—from concept and design through fabrication, testing, and commissioning.Responsibilities
- Design panelboards, switchboards, switchgear, control panels, and temporary power systems.
- Prepare one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, bills of material and submittal packages.
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit and coordination studies as required.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, UL 508A, UL 891, UL 67, NEMA and customer specifications.
- Support manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting and customer technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with project management, purchasing and production.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (required).
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical power engineering or power distribution equipment.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office; experience with SKM, ETAP or EasyPower is desirable.
- Working knowledge of NEC and industrial power distribution.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Skills Required
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- 2-5 years of experience in electrical power engineering or power distribution equipment
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of NEC and industrial power distribution
