Location: Overland Park, KS Currently (Moving to Olathe, KS into a new facility sometime in 2026)
Support electrical engineering activities related to the development, integration, testing, and maintenance of Ground-Based Radio Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS), Surveillance Radios (ADS-B/WAM), and other air traffic systems.
- Assist Electrical Engineers with circuit design, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of electronic systems and assemblies.
- Support the development and integration of analog, digital, RF, and power electronics used in radar, navigation, and surveillance systems.
- Assist with prototype assembly, modification, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware and circuit boards.
- Perform electrical testing using standard laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
- Support hardware integration and validation activities to ensure products meet technical and customer requirements.
- Assist with the creation and execution of test procedures, test reports, schematics, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with Electrical, Software, Systems, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of electrical and electronic hardware issues encountered during development, production, and testing.
- Assist with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and other product documentation.
- Support manufacturing and production engineering activities related to the assembly, testing, and improvement of electronic products.
