As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.
What You’ll Do
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll draw on your strong engineering, mathematical and analytic skills to design, develop, evaluate, improve, and advance the electronic equipment that supports our technology. Your technical skills will allow you to analyze and interpret electrical data, conduct experiments, and develop innovative solutions and peak performance. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities will be essential in identifying and resolving issues that arise during the design and implementation phases.
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete definition and design of complex components, modules, and sub systems. Contribute to the system engineering specification both within the field of expertise and broaden into other disciplines. Ensure designs meet market requirement specifications (MRS).
- Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand sub system requirements.
- Lead architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to down select to a final architecture of a subsystem
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis of sub systems using vast knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements in field of technical expertise and broaden into other disciplines.
- Assist in creating concepts for architectural design approaches. Evaluate architectures to provide recommendation for best system solution approach
- Build and qualify prototypes of new designs, or procure entire subsystems from outsourced suppliers and test for compliance with detailed specifications
- Identify and troubleshoot a variety of difficult engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
- Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
- Perform and coordinate tests against internal and industry-accepted reliability specifications. Make suitable design or operational changes as required.
- Support system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design, and understand the underlying system implications.
- Provide remote and onsite support to field support personnel as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in system engineering.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a system design engineer
Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications for control systems.
Design experience with control architecture design with system level knowledge, integration and testing.
Must have knowledge and understanding of equipment/tools in the semiconductor industry

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
