SUMMARY
The Electrical Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for various projects. Analyzes and troubleshoots electrical issues, develops solutions, and contributes to the optimization of electrical designs.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.
Demonstrates proficiency in MATLAB for modeling, simulation, data analysis, and development of engineering solutions.
Proven hands-on experience designing, prototyping, assembling, and testing physical electronic circuits
Must possess appropriate level of certifications for this position as required by the contract.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
In this role, one will bridge the gap between hardware and software, utilizing your coding expertise to develop firmware, automate testing, and drive prototyping initiatives within our engineering lab.
Alongside development work, one will oversee daily lab operations, including equipment calibration, component inventory, and the enforcement of safety protocols.
Independently designs, develops, and tests electrical systems and components, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.
Conducts detailed calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Collaborates with other engineers and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.
Leads small-scale projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and methodologies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two to four (2-4) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
