Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Design and develop motor drive inverters/DCDC converters for Hybrid and Electric Vehicle systems
➢
Ensure products meet all customers and internal electrical requirements
➢
Find root cause and corrective action to any electrical design related issues
➢
Apply engineering CAD/CAE tools to perform design analysis and evaluation
➢
Verify and validate designs on bench and in vehicle as necessary
➢
Support module level validation
➢
Follow engineering design process and product release procedures
➢
Provide technical support to manufacturing during pilot run and production start-up
➢
Participate in new product development with others as a team player
Requirements / Qualifications:
➢
Bachelor or above degree in electrical, electronic, Automation, Automotive engineering
➢
At least 3 years work experience of hands-on AC/DC,DC/DC converter design.
➢
Electrical design experience on OBC&DCDC product.
➢
Working knowledge of and/or skill in one or more of the following areas:

High current/ High voltage electrical system design

Experience of the OBC&DCDC power circuit system design

Analog and digital circuit
-
PCB layout knowledge and low emission layout experience

CAD design and CAE analysis tool application

Comprehensive technical English reading/writing and verbal communication skills

With task and work planning skill

Good understanding of magnetics theory and MOSFET loss model
➢
Experience using LTspice, Saber, and Matlab.
