We are looking for enthusiastic, hands-on engineers who are excited about building the future of aviation.
Role Overview :
As an Electrical & Electronics Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating and validating avionics, battery management systems, chargers, power converters, and other critical electrical/electronic sub-systems for our eVTOL aircraft. You will be responsible for system-level integration, software-hardware co-design, communication interfaces, and testing, ensuring seamless operation across LRUs (Line Replaceable Units).
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to system architecture design and electrical/electronic schematics.
- Define and maintain communication interfaces (CAN, ARINC, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, RS-232/485).
- Develop & maintain CAN messaging documentation (.dbc files), simulate bus networks, analyze bus loading, troubleshoot issues, and write CAPL scripts.
- Integrate & validate DC-DC converters, PDUs, BMS, chargers, and embedded devices.
- Implement and test firmware/software modules in C/C++ on embedded targets.
- Develop integration & test plans, execute HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) tests, and document results.
- Support HW-SW co-design by working closely with hardware & software teams.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and manage source code with Git.
- Support certification-driven development (ISO 26262, DO-178).
Requirements
Tech Skills required
- 2+ years of experience in electrical/electronics systems, embedded software development/testing.
- Strong understanding of electric power interfaces (current, voltage levels, power, power quality) and communication interfaces (CAN, ARINC, Ethernet, etc)
- Hands-on experience with Embedded C/C++, debuggers (Segger J-Link, Lauterbach), and embedded targets.
- Strong software debugging & troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262, ASIL C/D) and/or aerospace standards (DO-178B/C, DO-254).
- Familiarity with RTOS concepts and real-time embedded systems.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting & automation.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control.
- Excellent teamwork & communication skills.
Preferred Qualification
- B.Tech or B.E / BS / B.Sc, M.Sc (Electrical & Electronics or Computer Science & Engineering) with 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Exposure to power electronics (DC-DC converters, motor controllers, Li-ion battery systems).
- Experience with CAN bus network simulation tools, CAPL scripting, and HIL setups.
- Prior work in automotive or aerospace domains.
