Electrical Designer

Title:

KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for an Electrical Designer to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia.  This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities and will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas.  The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.

The Electrical Designer will perform electrical design for the Abadi Project.

Responsibilities: 

• Supervise and coordinate with the team to produce deliverables per schedule and quality standards

• Responsible for SP3D electrical setup and modeling of LNG electrical equipment and ladders etc

• Development of standard electrical installation details and bulk material MTOs

• Production of 2D equipment, cable rack and cable trench layouts from S3D

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical or related Engineering

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with average experience ranging from 6 -10 years

• Detailed design experience performing SP3D modeling, extracting, and producing equipment layouts, ladder layouts, etc.

• Familiarity with regional and global electrical codes, standards, and regulations

• Proficient in using SmartPlant Electrical and 2D AutoCAD to produce single-line diagrams, schematic and connection wiring diagrams, etc.

• Proven ability to collaborate with specialized Electrical Engineers/Designer teams for complete detailed design

• Must be able to work independently
