We are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Designers to join our team to participate in the entire design process, ensuring the best solutions for each project. The scope of work covers all project phases, from concept to detailed design.

What to expect:
- Translate complex engineering concepts into detailed drawings.
- Utilise your expertise in cable ladder design, switchrooms, panels, P&IDs, loop diagrams, substation & MCC layouts, lighting & power layouts, and instrument junction box layout designs to contribute to our projects.
- Develop project CAD execution plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Provide input for software development to enhance drafting practices.
- Share your electrical and instrumentation expertise by assisting others in design and utilisation of CAD software.
Your Background:
To be successful within our team you will need the ability to collaborate as well as demonstrate autonomy, meticulous attention to detail and possess the below attributes:
- Electrical / Instrumentation design.
- Technical Diploma, trade qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in mining, minerals processing, or energy/oil & gas industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-discipline projects.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD 2D or MicroStation 2D and 3D modelling experience in at least one CAD program.
- High desirable to have Aveva experience.
Skills Required
- Electrical and instrumentation design experience
