Responsibilities
- Designs control system and low voltage electrical enclosures (<480 volts AC).
- Creating, selecting and maintain components in the design tools & suppliers.
- Working with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production builds.
- Develop test case and calculation for electrical safety test of product.
- Responsible for coordinate for CE / UL testing of product.
- Ensure that design solutions meet standards for quality, reliability, cost, and delivery time.
- To create, collect, maintain, and review item documentation (ELCAD drawings, specifications, bills of material).
- Work in a structured company using PLM system to create items and managing the revisions.
- Value Analysis/Value Engineering) VAVE optimizes product value by reducing costs while maintaining or enhancing quality, functionality, and performance.
- Provide input from custom orders such as Engineering to Order (ETO) projects into NPDI modules to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborates with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree, Electrical Engineering or related degree Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Electrical panel development for thermal products
- Good understanding about Inverters / Drives and Pumps
- Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs.
- Experience with ELCAD schematic or similar tools.
- Experience working with electrical power / current / harmonics etc. measurements equipment
- Ability to execute on schedules for hardware board development lifecycles.
- Ability to debug, validate, and develop/support manufacturing tests on board level products.
- Experience in design for testability and manufacturability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
- Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity.
- Willing to travel if require too.
Skills Required
