Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid and Senior level Electrical and Design Analysis Engineers to join the C-17 Liaison Engineering Team located in Robins AFB, GA
We are seeking a proactive Electrical Engineer to support the C-17 repair environment, serving as the go-to technical resource for electrical and avionics troubleshooting, damage investigation, and repair development.
This role requires a hands-on, collaborative professional who is willing to go beyond the desk and into the maintenance line to understand issues firsthand and drive resolution. The ideal candidate will partner closely with production personnel, demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, and help ensure aircraft are returned to mission-ready condition efficiently and effectively.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site engineering support at the aircraft maintenance location. This includes, but not limited to the development of technical solutions, development of engineering data, and acting as a principle point of contact for internal and external customers.
- Provide steadfast technical support around diagnosing and resolving issues encountered in the aircraft maintenance operations, on-time with high quality.
- Review defect and damage conditions; establish root cause and provide acceptable disposition instructions that are innovative, thorough and practical.
- Participate in status meetings and technical reviews, support monthly metrics development and submittals.
- Drive efficiency in the aircraft maintenance operations by steadfast collaboration with design, manufacturing, and stress counterparts.
- Support trade studies, design improvements, and optimization efforts.
- Ensure customer compliance with Boeing standards.
- Collect and document cybersecurity artifacts from field systems and serve as the primary liaison during cybersecurity reportable incidents.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering role
- 3+ years of experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving abilities
- 3+ years of Delegation of Engineering Authority / Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (DEA / MRB / LE) Authority experience, including participating in Material Review Board
- Universal Product Review certification
- 3+ years of experience with applying knowledge of design principles to assess and resolve product issues through the product lifecycle
- 3+ years of experience with developing dispositions for aircraft non-conformances
- 3+ years of experience with military or commercial derivative aircraft: design, analysis, manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, delivery and fleet support
- 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment and/or business unit teams
- 3+ years of customer interface experience

Pay Range Mid-level (Level 3): $103,700 - $140,300
Pay Range Senior-level (Level 4): $126,650 - $171,350
