Overview:
The Election Data Analyst plays a key role in helping our organization and candidates understand local election results. This volunteer collects, reviews, and organizes precinct-level election return data to identify trends, turnout patterns, and performance insights that can inform future campaign strategies. Support and training will be available.
Key Responsibilities:
· Gather and compile official election results from the county elections office.
· Verify data accuracy and consistency across precinct and district reports.
· Summarize and visualize data (e.g., charts, maps, or tables) to highlight key findings.
· Provide reports and insights to candidates and campaign teams for post-election review.
· Maintain confidentiality and ensure data is handled responsibly.
These qualities and skills will be helpful:
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proficiency with voter file systems, spreadsheets (Excel), and data visualization tools.
· Analytical mindset—able to identify trends and patterns in numbers.
· An interest in elections, local politics, or data analysis.
· Prior data or research experience is helpful but not required.

What We Do
The Spokane County Democratic Central Committee (SCDCC), known as the Spokane County Democrats, is a local political organization in Washington state. It focuses on electing Democratic candidates to public office and promoting a platform based on human rights, social justice, and economic equity. The organization works to register voters, endorse candidates, and advocate for policies that benefit the community and ensure equal opportunity for all.
