In a state-of-the-art, innovative digital environment, you'll join a dynamic department responsible for the integration of electrical assemblies on civil and military helicopters.
This critical role requires expertise in both the design and integration of Control Boxes and Panels within helicopter platforms, and the development and management of the Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) Architecture. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical reference for defining, designing, validating, and qualifying Control Boxes, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with stringent industry standards. Concurrently, the candidate will develop and maintain logical and physical electrical wiring integration across aircraft systems, defining and managing signal paths for both functionality and safety segregation. Responsibilities include preparing technical documents such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive system engineering for Control Boxes, from functional design to integration into civil and military helicopters.
- Own the functional and system design of Control Boxes, managing complex interfaces with various contributing systems.
- Develop and maintain the EWIS architecture to ensure logical and physical integration between all aircraft systems.
- Ensure all EWIS designs comply with airworthiness regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards, conducting safety assessments as required.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for EWIS-related matters.
- Collaborate with various system designers, conducting preliminary studies for system integration.
- Perform electrical load analysis to ensure the integrity of the electrical system and future upgrade capabilities.
Your profile:
You have the following experiences and skills:
- Holder of a Técnico Superior in the field of engineering/aeronautics or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of WD design
- Knowledge of certification / qualification process
- Overal technical knowlegde and understanding
- Knowledge of the installation regulations for electrical equipment and devices in the aeronautical environment
- You like working in a complex environment and accepting changes in priorities
- Ability to step back and have an overview of a project
- Soft Skills: methodology and rigor, team spirit and dynamism, transparent communication, having a positive attitude even in times of difficulty (being constructive), knowing how to work on a plateau
- Language skills: Negotiation level in Spanish and advanced level in English and / or French.
